Findby

Legal

Terms of service.

Effective 2026-05-23.

These terms govern your use of Findby. They are written in plain language so the agreement reads the way the product behaves. If a clause matters to your operation, read it carefully; if you need counsel for your jurisdiction, consult them before signing.

1. What Findby provides

Findby is a workspace for sourcing local-business leads, generating demo sites, drafting outbound email, and operating the sending infrastructure those emails ride on. The service is delivered on a subscription basis under one of the published plans — Starter, Growth, or Agency — with the feature limits stated on the pricing page.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, the security of the credentials you use, and the activity that occurs under your account. Seats are named — one identity per seat — and shared logins are not permitted on paid plans.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Findby to send unsolicited bulk email outside the jurisdictions and consent regimes the platform supports (today: United States, Canada, United Kingdom). You may not impersonate another sender, send into addresses on the suppression list, or attempt to bypass the warm-up schedule. The compliance gates exist to keep your domain reputation intact — circumventing them puts your sending future at risk and terminates the agreement.

4. Your data and leads

The lead records you collect through discovery belong to you. CSV export is available at any time, and on cancellation your data remains accessible for thirty days. After that window, archived records are removed from active storage. Findby does not sell your leads, does not share them with third parties for marketing, and does not retroactively claim ownership of the businesses you build relationships with.

5. Demo sites

Demo sites generated through the platform are hosted at [business].newshop.studio for the duration of the engagement plus ninety days after the last interaction. If a prospect signs and you want to deliver the demo as their production site, that handover and any associated hosting arrangement is between you and them — Findby is not party to that deal and does not take a cut.

6. Billing, refunds, cancellation

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Cancellation stops the subscription at the end of the current billing cycle; consumer purchases (B2C) include a fourteen-day refund window via the Stripe Billing Portal, while business purchases (B2B, with a valid VAT ID at checkout) are excluded from consumer-protection refunds but can still be cancelled at any time. Partial months are not pro-rated.

7. Liability

The service is provided as described. Findby does not warrant that any specific lead will convert, that any specific email will land in the inbox, or that the deliverability schedule will eliminate every spam outcome. Aggregate liability under this agreement is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to these terms

Material changes are announced by email at least thirty days before they take effect. Continued use after that window constitutes acceptance. The current version is always posted at this URL with an effective date at the top.
